Auch das Londoner Traditionsturnier Pink Jukebox Trophy musste 2021 Corona-bedingt pausieren und vom angestammten Februar-Termin in den Sommer wechseln. Und noch etwas war 2022 anders als noch 2020: die PJT ist umgezogen vom kuschelig-plüschigen Rovoli Ballroom ins Bishopsgate Institute in central London.
Als einziges deutsches Paar waren Marc Hartung-Knöfler & Damian Spyrka vom TSC Blau-Gold Casino Darmstadt am Start. Marc schreibt am 25.06.2022 auf Facebook:
What a wonderful tournament: Super organised, beautiful venue, fantastic audience and great dancers.
In a strong tournament we could achieve the second place today and we are very happy with our performance.
Damian and I are really looking forward to the next tournaments in the UK!
